Located in Scribner, NE, we are a family operation that focuses on QUALITY not QUANTITY. Our registered cow herd started out with Kristin's 20 cows that were her FFA project in high school. These cows originated from her family's ranch, the Diamond Lazy J, in Nenzel, NE. Over the past eighteen years, we have used AI and intensive culling to create ideal females. We don't have many cows or much room, so only the best get to stay. The cows that do get to stay are functional, fertile, have good udders, quiet dispositions, and are easy fleshing. Calving ease is a must. However, growth and performance are not sacrificed. We realize that in most cases pounds are still what pays. We raise cattle with the commercial cattlemen in mind.
